Position: Program Coordinator – Community Support & Well-being Unit
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time. Six-month – renewable based on performance and funding availability.

Role Summary
The Program Coordinator – Community Support & Well-being Unit will lead and coordinate all programs addressing urgent material needs, healing, and psychosocial well-being of women and queer communities in Sudan and related contexts.
This role ensures that all interventions are feminist, community-driven, ethical, and aligned with NFM’s institutional policies and political values.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
-Designing and implementing programs addressing urgent needs of women and queer communities, including healing circles, material aid, and psychosocial support.
-Conducting community needs assessments and developing intervention plans aligned with organizational goals and policies.
-Ensuring all programs reflect inclusive Black feminist values and NFM’s institutional framework.
-Supervising the Logistics & Field Assistants and Community Focal Points, providing guidance, oversight, and support.
-Collaborating closely with the Knowledge Building Unit, Executive Director, and other Program Coordinators to integrate healing and care across NFM’s work.
-Leading program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to ensure accountability and quality.
-Building and maintaining partnerships with local organizations, suppliers, and service providers.
-Overseeing documentation of community needs, impact stories, and lessons learned for internal and external use.
Key Deliverables
-Annual and quarterly program implementation plans.
-Quarterly monitoring and evaluation reports.
-Well-documented healing and psychosocial support activities.
-Effective coordination of logistics and community focal points.
-Regular program updates and community stories shared with the Communication and Knowledge Building Units.
Required Qualifications & Experience
-Minimum 3–5 years of experience in community support, humanitarian response, psychosocial programming, or feminist organizing.
-Strong understanding of Sudanese social, political, and cultural contexts.
-Proven experience working with conflict-affected or marginalized communities.
-Experience supervising field staff and volunteers.
-Strong documentation and reporting skills.
-Fluency in Arabic required; English is a strong asset.
